2021-22 Photography Studio Lab Monitor

As a photography lab monitor in the Missouri State University Art and Design Department, my responsibilities included giving technical advice to students while they developed film and made gelatin silver prints, cleaning and organizing film developing gear, mixing chemicals, organizing prints, keeping work spaces clean and dust free for proper printing conditions, and ensuring students adhered to safety rules in regards to chemical disposal and equipment use.

As a student photographer with Missouri State University photo services, I photographed for clients within the university. I photographed basketball, soccer, baseball, soccer, football, softball and volleyball games, and I traveled from Springfield, MO to St. Louis, MO with MSU’s men’s basketball team to cover their participation in the Missouri Valley Conference. I documented banquets, art exhibitions, theater productions, celebrity speakers, and musical artists that perform at campus venues. My work was published in various university publications and is used for social media and marketing purposes.
